Hi,
Looking to buy a MI box and I am aware that the MI Box 4 does not have an international version. My questions is should I wait for the international version to be released or is the MI Box 3 going to be just as good?
Thanks.

Basic video streaming and using some of the apps to watch international channels.
There isn't really any significant improvement in the 4 to begin with so waiting for an international version is probably pointless. I don't believe Xiaomi have shown any indication they even plan to bring the 4 to international markets, the changes seem to all be related to their software which won't be of any use to their international customers who really would only want an Android TV powered unit.
I have 2 mibox 3. I just updated them to Oreo. It’s an impressive box imo. 4K out of the box, kodi, terraria, mobro. sideload Android apps, Bluetooth remote.
I love it 😍
can you watch amazon prime video on it? my old 2013 TV doesn't have Prime Video app, so I'm in the market for device to watch prime video
Yes you can. Have to sideload the Prime app for AndroidTV
Hi,
Please help!
I am having the Fetch TV Mighty NO SOUND problem. My set up is as below:
I just bought a Viewsonic PX727 which is 4K, HDCP 2.2. My AV amp is Onkyo TX SR706 in early 2000. (HDMI 1.3, no HDCP2.2)
Tried different connection methods:
1) FetchTV > Onkyo > projector = No video, No sound
2) Fetch TV > Projector = Video with stereo sound via projector's built-in speaker
3) Fetch TV > Jaycar HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor > Video via HDMI to Projector + Digital audio to Onkyo : The result is: Video always works, however, with audio, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When the audio does not work, I unplug the power chord the HDMI Audio Extrator, then the audio works.
I am thinking of buying Mi box 3 or Mi Box S. Will it work for my set up?
What do you want to do with it? I have the mi box 3 and its fine for everything i need
