Logged in to check my credit card statement and noticed an online offer for 3,000 bonus points for adding a supplementary card online. Had a chat to customer service through live chat who verified the offer.
May be targeted. If the offer isn't available, have a chat with customer service who may be able to honour the offer regardless.

This offer excludes cards that have existing linked supplementary cards.
Referrer: 40,000 Reward Points
Referee gets 200,000 MR points. Referrer gets 150,000 MR points.
Offer should be open to everyone as I added two supplementary cards last week and got the bonus points.
I already have one for my partner, I might have to apply for the next supplementary card in the name of Santos L. Halper.
How does this work - does Amex not verify that Santos L Halper exists?
I logged on and can't see this offer on either of my cards. Where does it appear? In the normal offers section?
Logged in and saw the offer. Filled out the form and submitted, returned back with an error. Tried to fill out the form again but the offer was no longer visible!
Edit: Just checked my points summary and the 3000 points are there. So I'm assuming the application was successful and my partner will be getting a card.

confirmed on online chat the 3000 points will be credited if it is the first supplementary card being applied for.
Found out from the rep it is only for cards without any supps currently, counts me out.
No true I’ve added a supplementary card to a card that had 3 supps still got the point.

Nope just called up and ask for verification of the offer and added supplementary card on the spot. I've done this many times in the past without any issues.
I called yesterday and was told it could only be applied for on line and only if you received the offer.
Anyway I got 6k so I’m not complaining.
I just saw the offer and added my wife.
When the points will arrive?
when approved, usually next day or so
