If anyone was looking through health insurance options for the next financial year and considering HIF: using JUNEFREE will get you 1 month free cover.
When I signed up with HIF they didn't have this available but give you 4% off if you pay the whole year in advance. Not sure if this stacks with the coupon.
Referrer gets $150 EFTPOS card. Referee gets $50 EFTPOS card.
just got quote emailed and as well as the one month free
it states:
4% discount for yearly
2% discount for half-yearly
So if we change we don't get the gift card that is always on offer you only get one month's free?
I'm pretty sure you get both the one month free and the $50 card, but you'll have to go through with the application and put in the referrer's details to confirm

You can use https://www.privatehealth.gov.au which lists all the offerings. I just made a list of all the health insurance funds with greater than 1% market share (there were about 20 of them) and plugged in my details in all of their websites and chose the cheapest one. HIF was cheapest for me but it can vary depending on your age and what state you're in. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to compare all of the funds
You can change your payment option so if you want do the free month then change from monthly to annually billing if you want the 4% discount. Can’t imagine there’d be any issue.
