Unsure if it’s the first or second version, but from memory there wasn’t much difference between them anyway.
I’ve used one in the kitchen, shower, bedroom, camping, ski trips, hotels, office, etc and they’re great for the price.
This is for Roll v1.
Roll v2 claims to be 15% louder, better Bluetooth range and battery life.
But this is about 30 bucks cheaper than v2 from TGG so… Maybe?
They’re loud enough as is and the range is good. I definitely wouldn’t bother with the extra price for V2 since they’re not significant upgrades.
Does anyone here know how this would go regularly being exposed to steam in a shower? I doubt I'd bother mounting it directly in the shower itself but while dunking tests are great marketing, a single dunk doesn't mean it'll last. I know from experience that the waterproof seal on a lot of "waterproof" point and shoots tend to fail within a few uses for example. (Yes I was making sure they were sealed according to instructions).
