100

Found this deal myself from shoppingexpress website. I believe this is the cheapest price for this monitor (I can't find a better deal either on eBay or other websites/stores).

The main features of the monitor, I believe are:
- it has built-in speakers
- it has a built-in 2MP front facing webcam
- the display monitor can be tilted 90 degrees
- You can swivel the monitor 45 degrees to the left/right
- the display monitor can be tilted backward/forward
- the display monitor can be lifted 14 cm above the desk.

I just ordered one myself haha.

Not bad for an ultrasharp…although these bezels could kill someone

  • Mmm dem bezels :p

The attached speakers don't help with its looks.

  • gets my vote for adjustability, though I'm after 4K monitor.

An UltraSharp with 6-bit+FRC? I thought they were supposed to colour accurate. https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/705c6b2

      Thanks for pointing that out.
Surprised they even make 6 bit IPS LCD.

      • PLS isn't IPS. OP may need to change the title.

I've revoked my +1 after alvian pointed it out. I previously thought dell reserved the 'ultrasharp' moniker for colour accurate 8-10bit IPS panels, which that link has shown is clearly not the case.

Actually, there seems to be conflicting reports if this monitor is IPS or PLS. The link OP sent states IPS. There's also many reviews from Google that state it's IPS. There's also reviews that state PLS.

        IPS:

The link on the Dell website doesn't mention if it's IPS or PLS:
        https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/cty/dell-ultrasharp-23-…

Finding the PDF manual for the UZ2315H on BHPvideo.com states it's a PLS panel:
        https://static.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/97213.pdf

So there we go. It's most likely a PLS panel but I can't be sure with all the conflicting information out there.

If the panel is made by Samsung, it's called a PLS display, since PLS is Samsung's proprietary tech.

If the panel is made by LG, it's IPS, or could be something else that LG has under their patent

Though, Wikipedia considers PLS technology to be a 'derivative' or alternative to IPS, and from what I gather,

PLS is a sub-set of IPS panel. And others may include:

          H-IPS
          AH-IPS
          P-IPS
          E-IPS
          eIPS
          S-IPS

so I'll draw it down the middle and just call the monitor either PLS or IPS, depending on whose viewpoint you want to take.

        • @scrimshaw:

6bit PLS+ dithering is as colour accurate as 6bit TN+dithering.

There are true 8bit TN panels that have been out for years. Someone who gets this monitor thinking they will be seeing something comparable to what people refer to when saying IPS, is going to be very disappointed.

        • n@scrimshaw: just going through this variant issue with a new screen for my laptop …..it’s confusing but the saving grace seems to be wide viewing angle is common across most variants vs tn panel …..

    • You guys are going into confusing territory. I thought all fullhd Ultrasharp had to be 6 bit and nothing else. Apparently 8 bit on 24" is not even made by Samsung or LG.

      • Here is a FullHD 21.5" IPS monitor by LG with full 8-bit colour depth: 22MP68VQ
