Weber Q200 Package Worth $722 for $630, Plus $10 Signup Voucher, Plus 630 Points Valued at $63

80

Just got my first Weber BBQ from Joe's BBQ!
Includes a lots of useful extras, valued at $722, they are selling for $630 and minus the $10 signup voucher.

Plus it gives you 630 points valued at $63. I then use the points and pay extra $16.95 to buy the premium plate worth $79.95: http://www.joesbbqs.com.au/weber-q200-premium-hotplate-p-131…

The website does not properly process the voucher and points, but their customer service is very good. Just call them to sort out the voucher and points.

I shop around only to find everyone selling at RRP price and some rude services.

  • Why not get a charcoal webber?

because it's a completely different product?

A BBQ is a BBQ - a webber charcoal BBQ gives you a different taste.
Therefore all you need us a cheap BBQ and a kettle webber

I would imagine you would buy this if you wanted something portable, that could be ready to cook in 10 mins, that was easy to clean, and would last longer than one season?

(It also has a 'brand name'….which is important to some people, who wish to avoid the 'cheap chinese junk' one hears so much about)

You could also buy a charcoal weber……if you had the space and the money….but that is a completely different product….and possibly not on special….hence (presumably), the reason it was not mentioned in the post

This appears to be $619 at Barbeques Galore.

So the "points" are the only thing that are a deal here, and I'm not convinced they're worth it.

    • the cover and tools bounce it into minor bargain territory I reckon….the cover alone is around $50.
The op's wording is a bit confusing, as it talks about a $10 sign up….which would drop it to $620 if I'm reading it right….

I suspect shipping would be a bit prohibitive, but I can't be bothered signing up to find out….so might just be a pick up only bargain

      • Yes, you are right, sorry to confuse everyone :-).
It's all up $620, so the extra are the cover, toolset and the brush. Plus the 630 points that you can use to buy anything you like on the website.

I believe it's a good bargain, considering no one offering any discount at the moment.

  • I have a weber Q and it is stingy on the gas, but it's far from the best BBQ I have ever owned, slow to heat up, no good for eggs and delicate food, small cooking area & not a great deal of control over the flame, anyone looking at one look really well at what else is on the market first.

    • That doesn't sound good…..is it the Q200?
I know the little 100 ones are probably not worth buying, but I had heard good things about the 2/300's

      • Use our Q220 around 2 times a week, hardly ever need to fill up the gas cylinder and it cooks nicely…. Use one of those grill sheets or the breakfast inlay for delicate/small food.

Thing I love most is how quick it is to cleanup after cooking, it's like 60 seconds with the brush and it's done.

Only issue would be if you needed to cook for more than 4-6 people the 200's could be small… Though we managed for 7 ok over christmas.

  • Wow, I was wrong thinking everyone love Weber Q! I did search on the internet and found a lot of good reviews, that's why I bought it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe they mean the charcoal one :-(…

Anyway, will find out this weekend when I'm using it for the first time. Wish me luck :-).

    • I'd be interested to see how it goes…..
