  • Where's the bargain?

    • Coupon code is ”Bargain”

      • How do your apply the coupon code? Stamp it on our foreheads?

        • You can text through the code, message it on fb, telepathically send it to the coffee machine directly. Bonus points if you actually say it when buying :)

      • Is 7-11 coffee like a $1

    • It's kind of a tongue in cheek thing targeted towards people who think $2.50 coffee must taste terrible. Hoping they'll buy more if they think it's a special discount.

    No offence but

Your name is cringey af and your posts on Facebook is equally cringey.

Interesting concept for a cafe! Will be interested to see how it works out.

    • Thank you

  • Can't be cost price if you charging above it

    • The name "only a little bit above cost price so we can make profit from this business" was already taken (Its the reject shops business name). Some people might assume $2.5 or $3 is actually cost price compared to some of the prices in the city!

      • but its not in the city

    • Are wages not a cost? Is rent not a cost? It is 100% cost price. You are right that the cost of coffee beans and milk is lower than the price though.

      • cost price
        noun
the price at which goods are or have been bought by a merchant or retailer.

        • Technically correct, the best kind of correct. It's kind of like what Habeeboo said, the name "cost price plus other costs" was already taken.

      • No wages and rent are part of mark up of the price, if you are saying you selling at cost price you cant include any of that.
So your business name is misleading

        • It is a lot of new information since this hasn't been done before, to clear things up I provide full transparency on the website and Facebook. This is a nonprofit and the only thing that sets the price is the sum total of all costs involved. Hope that clears things up

        • I don't see it registered in the Non-Profit/Charity? http://www.acnc.gov.au/ACNC/Home/ACNC/Default.aspx

        • @asa79: https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?abn=34793989793
Before you become a registered charity, you must first register as a nonprofit. We had an issue with wording in the first charity application which took 2 months and have sent in a new application. Our Incorporated Association number is IA57547 and our ABN is registered as an Incorporated Entity, the ABN is 34 793 989 793

        • @asa79:
Do you want a copy of the permit from Brisbane City Council as well? I'd be happy to answer any other questions.
