END OF FUR-NANCIAL YEAR RUN OUT - 3 DAYS ONLY!4 PAW SCRATCH BACKS: $0 DRIVE AWAY PRICE!
We currently have over 1000 cats in our care who would much purrfer to be in a loving home just like yours!

From Thursday 14 - Sunday 17 June, we will be waiving the adoption fee for all cats aged four months and up.

*Standard adoption process still applies to make sure each cat is placed in the best home for them. Promotion available at all RSPCA Victoria Adoption Centres, Epping Animal Welfare Facility, and our partnering Petbarn stores.

Do you know the costs we cover to prepare our animals for adoption?

Here's a list to give you an idea:

Desexing (starts from $91)
Microchipping ($39)
Vaccinations (starts from $83)
Vet checks ($65)
Other health care costs that may include dental care ($250),
x-rays (up to $500) and
even surgery (potentially $1000's)

Our adoption fees are well under our animals' treatment and care costs, costs that we will not recover, but we want to do all we can to find every one of these beautiful creatures a forever home. Any contribution great or small will help us ensure many more animals get the happy ending they deserve.

    I ended up bringing home my new buddy from the RSPCA when they were giving away cats. Giving a donation is always a great idea since they end up more than $200 on every cat they give away (by the time they de-sex, vaccinate, feed etc). Couldn't have been more helpful when i went!

    If you adopt one please make sure YOU KEEP YOUR (profanity) ECOSYSTEM DESTROYERS INSIDE.

    • +4

      does that include human ecosystem destroyers?

      • +3

        That is a Paw-sibility

        • This is getting Purr-diculous

    • Not sure why this has been negged so much. Some councils have made it mandatory for them to be in 24/7. Much safer for Moggy too.

      • +7

        Probably for the hyperbolic "ecosystem destroyer" part. And the caps.

        Hell, people do far more damage to every ecosystem than cats could ever hope to do.

        • -7

          The difference is we don't do it just for the fun of it like cats do.

        • +7

          @nurries: Hahahahaha have you looked around recently? People are terrible terrible creatures. Hell, at least cats when they do it, either do it for food, or because they think you need food.

          @HighAndDry:

          Show me where we have destroyed an ecosystem for fun?

        • +1

          @nurries: the Great Barrier Reef.

        • @nurries: It's done for profit. Nice high-minded defense, that.

  • Finally a deal I can get my claws into.
