Will this work flawlessly in Australia? (Well as flawlessly as a Samsung allows - I own an S8+ but wife needs a new phone)

  It will but Samsung Pay (for example) will not work out of the box. You will have to flash AU firmware which you can get from Updato. I'd recommend picking a firmware that's compatible with your wireless carrier if you want features like VoLTE and VoWiFI.

I swear my phone is snapper after 1 year of use….its so weird….. It not rooted, it's running 8.0 and few bloatware disabled, that is it. Love the phone!
