Best I can find right now is Aldi's 200g of smoked salmon, priced at $8. Is there a better $/gram out there for quality smoked salmon?
Anyone Know Where to Get Good Quality Smoked Salmon at a Bargain?

No there doesn’t seem to be any. It’s such a shame there hasn’t been bargains on smoked salmon for over a year.
Harris Farm Markets occasionally have bargains, most often after Christmas/New Year when you can binge for $25/kg or so.
That is a dreamy price! However I wouldn’t freeze smoked salmon for more than 3 months.
I finish it in about two weeks. By that time I'm sick of smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers.
How much do you consume…?
@JuliusSeizure: One sandwich per day so that's 70g salmon. But only around that time of year.
The delis in an around Caulfield (Victoria) will generally do 1KG (frozen)for about $30. Far better than Aldi's, too, IMO.
If you live in Tasmania all the major brands have outlet stores with smoked salmon offcuts at <$20/KG prices.
I thought those were for cooking?
They sell both - cooking pieces and smoked offcuts - I've never been able to tell the difference and eat both straight from the bag.
Costco is about the $30/kg mark from memory - been a while since I picked some up though. Naturally, you need to have/know of someone with a Costco membership. Also you need to buy 500g/1kg packets.
Did Aldi have anything in bigger packets? You usually get better value per kg by buying larger packets too.
