Subsidies for LED Fluros for Small Business

Hi everyone,
I work for a small company in Adelaide.
We have 15 staff.
We have been offered by “shine on” to replace our old Fluro globes with energy efficient LED globes.
They say they can replace the Old globes for about $1000 per 100 globes.
A friend told me his company had the globes replaced for free a few years ago, but I called that company who replaced the globes and they don’t do it anymore.

Does anyone have any info about Subsidised globe replacement for Small businesses or Ideas?
Thanks for any ideas.

Cheers

Try checking your state government web site, they may have details there.

I used to work for a company that dealt with getting those rebates from the govt.
Essentially, govt has a pool of money under the energy savings scheme -> retailers like shine on go out and do LED upgrades at a discount for business owners -> they submit evidence that they did upgrades to the company I used to work for aka Accredited Persons aka Compliance companies -> company then submits paperwork to govt -> govt approves paperwork and gives the "discount amount" back to retailer. Win-win. Retailer gets the job without actually having to give out of pocket discount, and business owner gets a discount.

Google REES scheme for South Australia. P.s. shine on was my client as well before I left the company.

    • Thanks JNF good info - I will check it out.
