    One of the screen shots shows a button for 3GS users, but I think it works better with an iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4.

    edit: apparently that's a separate app, not free.

    Which part was Augmented Reality? The part I played was just using the gyroscope to control the a rather average game overlayed on a live video. Does the live video background actually play any role in the game?

  AR Invaders is using the device gyroscope so it wont work on 3GS.

  iPhone 3GS users can download Look-Up (3GS version of AR Invaders).
  This version is based on the device compass so it compatible with 3GS
