Free 10 Week Program at The Paleo Way (Was $89)

100

Unsure how long this is free for but has a bunch of recipes based on wholesome ingredients which will probably come in useful this winter. The website seems to have problems on Chrome but IE worked for me. Enjoy, was $89. No credit card needed. Unspecified how long it will be free for.

Their program is also compatible with those following an autoimmune protocol, GAPS diet or, FODMAP.

Ranked 32 / 40 diets this year under 'Healthy Eating'. It's no longer rock bottom, but there's still many many many better options.

Oh, but don't you know? All those health professionals are just in the pocket of big food companies… /s

      • Unfortunately, many health professionals are basing their dietary recommendations on the Standard American Diet which emerged in the 1950s / 1960s or variants thereof. There is little scientific evidence of the safety and benefits of such a diet especially given the rise in metabolic disorders like type 2 diabetes and obesity that emerged in the ensuing decades. The amount of carbohydrates and sugars it recommends as being healthy is particularly worrying as is the influence of lobbyists on the development of the guidelines.

According to a New York Times article from 2016, "The internal sugar industry documents, recently discovered by a researcher at the University of California, San Francisco, and published Monday in JAMA Internal Medicine, suggest that five decades of research into the role of nutrition and heart disease, including many of today’s dietary recommendations, may have been largely shaped by the sugar industry.' By downplaying the role of sugars in heart disease and other problems and exaggerating the dangers of fat they shaped the classic food pyramid in ways beneficial to their markets and detrimental to consumers. This is not 'fringe' information. The benefits of this particular diet I am unable to comment on though as I do not have sufficient knowledge at this time.

They all have your best interests at heart /s

My dad switched to low carb with more fat and protein diet and mostly consuming unprocessed foods and he's not diabetic anymore :D

He was on 5 different pills and in talks about dialysis. Not anymore :D

I use these recipes because they are good on my stomach, I have problems with my stomach and have to avoid a lot of ingredients. I cant handle a strict high fat diet for example but minimising my bread intake and avoiding processed foods helps me a lot.
