I've seen on some deals that there are pinned posts for users commenting useful information. Would it be a good idea in the future for when you are commenting on a deal it is sorted by personal opinions, more information on the deal and then joke posts? Does anyone agree?

I'd be more interested in being able to collapse a comment tree like in reddit, or an option to only show the top level of comments by default.
It's on a todo-list. Right now, we are thinking of allowing comments to be sorted by 'score' rather than only sorted in reverse chronological order. It could rely on a comment sorting algorithm similar to one used by Reddit.
It's planned for the future but don't expect something like this anytime soon.
