    Unless your child has a small foot, I think you're out of luck. My almost-6 year old is a size 2, he does have a large foot though for his age.

    Unlike virtually every other online shoe retailer, SportsDirect uses UK sizes. The average 8 year old boy takes a size UK C13, which is a US 1. An average 10 year old takes a UK 2, which is a US 3.
