Bose QuietControl 30 Wireless Headphones $309.60 + $5.50 Delivery (Was $387) @ VideoPro eBay

PAMPER20

From Original EOFY 20% off Selected Stores on eBay Deal Post

Bose QuietControl 30's yet again at its lowest price, however only for C&C (Previously same price but delivered.) Delivery is $5.5 to Sydney, not sure about other locations.

I've owned a pair of these since AU release. Much less weight than QC35's but neckband style is not for everyone. I like to tuck it underneath my shirt collar so it's out of the way and isn't irritating on the skin.

Bose have the best customer service, so they'll replace your device even out of warranty!

  • Must …resist…

  • aaaaa. when there is the end of this PAMPER20? Every deal is like - YES, I WANT IT!

is there any reviews of that model? I need new headphones now and this looks really interesting

    • +1

I can give you a personal review they’re really good I can copy pasta if you want a full rundown. Otherwise you can ask specific things from me.

      • thanks! decided to skip it - I am a frequent traveler and want to have something with ability to connect to airplane entertainment systems. Unfortunately, this means I can't buy these ones

        • I have qc30's for everyday commuting (bus, train) and qc25's for flights. Cant beat being able to tune ANC for situational awareness.

        • @ATangk: tempting…. I have QC25 and wife has QC35…

        • +1

@Novousp: Use the reasoning that she has BT and you don’t yet, and snag yourself a pair of QC30’s. If you commute by public transport you definitely won’t regret it.

  • great price for a good & sturdy pair of bluetooth earphones. Have been using a pair for last few months and can't complain. Sound is good, earphones are comfortable & lightweight, ANC cuts out noise while commuting in bus/train and battery life is great (I can go 3-5 days per charge on 1-2 hours per day of use and charging time is fast enough if you needed to top up 10-20% for the trip home). would highly recommend at this price!

    • can you listen with normal cable? I mean when you fly long flights and want to connect to entertainment system, is this possible? Or only through BT?

      • +1

found it - "No wired option to plug into airline entertainment systems."

      • No you can’t only Bluetooth sorry. I use a laptop to play media. The newer planes have AC outlets to top up battery on long flights.

  • How do these work on a plane? Do they allow bluetooth? I have the QC20 which is amazing until phones no longer have 3.5mm headphone jack. I assume the ANC ability on this can only be better than the QC20.

    • Why would anc be better than on the qc20?

    • Can’t use it for onboard entertainment unless you have a Bluetooth to aux separate unit. Can use for laptops and stuff still. Much more comfortable you can lie your head to the side without a big headband in the way like QC35’s. As for QC20’s if you hAve them it’s better for flying coz cable.

    • Bluetooth is OK on a plane as long as you select flight mode on the phone and then turn BT back on.
Max ANC is no different to QC20 but it is adjustable which I love. For example I can sit at the gate and still listen to whatever it is i'm listening to and actually use the external mics to pipe noise from around me so i can hear everything without taking my ear buds out. Great for gate announcements!

  • What's the ANC like in windy environments? I own a pair of cheapish ANC's which suffer from noise when wind blows over the ANC microphones.

    • +1

Also not very good. But you can cover the mic's and it helps? Not a good solution but havent tried blutacking them either.

      • Ah same issue - I've seen those fluffy things which Youtubers put over their camera mics for outdoor filming; might try those or the blu tack on my earphones thanks!

    • +1

I was wearing mine yesterday for a long walk in a windy street and didn't have any wind buffer over the mics. Even if you did the ANC is adjustable so you can turn it down to reduce any effect.
