What Is a Good and Reliable Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor?

I am after a digital temperature and humidity sensor.

Any recommendations as I am sick of looking at the mercury meter #Oldschool

If you are comfortable with a little bit of DIY/Programming, checkout Rasperberry Pi with DS18B20 temperature sensor here.
