So the exercise involves repetitive flexion of the knees, I'm not sure that's good idea.
Unless your knees are already wrecked or you use bad form this is probably good for your joints. Rowing is great low impact cardio.
Flexion is a long arsed way of saying bending the knee so yes, this person is not sure that bending the knee is good idea, better keep that leg straight bro, you never know what could happen if use it.
It's just a new hypothesis I read recently about the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis. When you flex knees beyond 30 degrees the soft tissues start rubbing against each other, do it often enough you start to get real inflammatory joint damage as opposed to the traditional view of age related joint degeneratiion. It's only a theory that's why I cannot be sure.
Looks like the $199 one that Aldi has on sale next week (I guess it would be a little cheaper factoring shipping, and Aldi's return policy).
I bought one from Ebay last year, it lasted about a month then the belt wouldn't retract anymore. I couldn't be bothered to return it and I ended up throwing it away. Not worth the money
