Edit (wordiness): I'm looking for a phone/SIM contract that is cheap and will allow me to have a phone roaming in the USA without being crazy expensive.
I need this because I need am open Aussie utility/phone bill, and also an Aussie number to get my bank's verification SMS messages.

I know that it sounds like anathema here, but for the purposes of having a utility bill, and also having some way to get verification texts from banks and such when I am overseas, can anyone suggest a good/cheap plan that will allow me to use the bill as proof of address, but also not overcharge me for roaming if the phone/SIM is abroad.
Right now I have a Pixel 2 XL but I have no way how to integrate my Aussie number/SIM into it. I've only ever uses Boost in Australia, but obviously it's prepaid which I can't have.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Note - since I travel back and forth so much, plenty of USA trades to be made lol.
