Was looking for a good uninstaller software and found the pro portable version on sale (I think this is due to Revo 11th birthday)

So how often would you do that and how much time would it save?
Quite a lot to be honest, as I'm working in IT who looks after clients who installed all sort of junk applications in their computer. The pro portable edition definitely saves me time
@televisi: Agrees. It's also very good at cleaning up various adware programs as an AV often won't detect them or leaves the junk behind.
@televisi: So unless it's installed before you install software, how does it know what to uninstall (apart from using the windows uninstaller) ?
WHat does it do that the other freeware portables don't?

yeah i use the freeware version.
The pro version would be good if thats all you do all day
Note the $us30 portable versio only buys you the current version & future minor version updates.
e.g. you buy v4.x you get all v4.x updates. But you don't get v5
i.e. like most software these days.
You buy MS Office 2018, you don't get 2019 unless you're paying a subscription. You'll get updates of course, but not upgrades.
like it often was in the past. you subscribe to MS Office 365, etc.
But in your example, you don't buy MS Office, you buy MS Office 2018
It's not so clear with this that you're only buying the current version & subsequent point releases.
With the vast majority of software bought these days is on various App stores, where you do generally receive updates/upgrades for free.
I have this. Wouldn’t install a program without it.
When you uninstall with it, it sets a restore point, then runs the usual uninstall program, then shows you any leftover registry entries which you can choose to delete. Then it shows any leftover files which you can choose to delete.
Just a note, back in Nov 2016 they mentioned that v4 would be estimated to appear in the 3rd quarter of 2017. It's now ~9 months later than that expected date so it might be that v4 is soon to appear.
Tihomir Hinchev @Mario Demi Our current estimations for Revo Uninstaller Pro 4 are for the third quarter of 2017. Still these are not exact dates but the new major version will not be released in the next 6 months. The development of version 3 is not stopped and there will be more free minor updates until the release of version 4.

Besides that, if you're not in a rush it has been on sale for $12.95->$17.95 previously on BdJ, (last time was $12.95 in March 2018). That said, deals on the portable version are rare.
