Issues Switching to Kogan Mobile

Hi all, just wondering if anyone could tell me what to do next?

I bought a Kogan 365 day sim, put it in my phone, and activated it.

Turns out my other provider, Amaysim, recorded my DOB incorrectly, so the number port failed. Kogan said call them.

However, this new sim doesn't seem to work. If I try to dial, Android tells me I'm not connected to a mobile service.

At one stage in this process, the network said KOGAN. Now it says "505 038".

I'm not sure if there's no conn due to poor coverage, or due to the DOB issues.

I'll try to borrow someone's phone tomorrow and call Kogan.

    of course the new sim doesn't work.

    use your old sim to call or connect with amaysim via live chat.

  • As noted above, the port failed so the new sim is not active. This means the old sim is still active. Put that back in to call Amaysim to get them to fix your DOB or use a different 'phone.
