2 for $40 3DS Games @ JB Hi-Fi

280

Noticed JB has added a stack of 3DS games to their 2 for $40 lineup. Quite a few of them are fairly new too, only released late last year.

Some of my picks:

Metroid Samus Returns - Remake of Metroid 2 and a return to form for the series. The best game in the lot.

Rhythm Paradise Megamix - A really fun rhythm game that's easy to get into. It's kinda like Wario Ware except the focus is music and rhythm.

Miitopia - A JRPG where the characters are your created Miis.

Picross 3D Round 2 - The best Picross game in my opinion. It adds a 3D twist to the formula and there is a lot of content.

Dragon Quest VII - A remake of the PS1 game. It's a very long JRPG where you go back in time to save fragments of the world. This one is fairly rare to find nowadays.

Fire Emblem Conquest - This is one of three games in the "Fates" entry. It's more like the older games and the hardest FE game in recent memory. Highly recommended if you like strategy games.

There are a few others that are highly rated such as Story of Season: Trio of Towns and the Art Academy games. Also you can combine them with any other 2 for $40 games on PS4 or XB1.

Might be worth noting, there's also a few of these titles in the Amazon AU BOGOF promo :) So could be worth double checking over there too before buying if interested.

  • Dragon quest is gone

Just a heads up that the Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest + NFC Reader + Marth amiibo combo is one of those eligible for the 2 for $40 Games offer:
    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/games-consoles/platforms/nintendo-…

So if you're thinking about getting FEF: Conquest anyway, might as well grab this, so you get a bonus NFC Reader and Marth amiibo as well as the game for the same price.

  • Nevermind, the 2 for $40 green tag is gone but it still works.

  • Dragon Quest VII is part of the deal. I bought it along with 3 other games that apparently weren't in stock. Always check in store. Combined all with today's 5% voucher storewide.
