Engine Oil Type Selection - 2011 Corolla

Hi,

I am a Ride share car driver. I drive Toyota Corolla 2011. On an average I drive weekly maximum 1100KM to 1200KM. I want to do engine oil change myself. At the moment car done 145000km

Need your suggestions what type of engine oil I should use. I have seen sometimes 5W-30 or 5W-40 are on sale.

Thanks in advanced!

put your car details into super cheap site and it will tell you http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/store/oils-fluids/engine-oi…

  • 10W-30 seems to be the right oil for your car

Best to look in the owners handbook for what Toyota recommends?

5w-30, but if you find that you need to top it up too often go with the 5w-40

Read your car's owner's manual. Different engines require different kinds of oils. Please don't try DIY if you didn't know even this.

  • Did you try to rtfm of your car ??

  • extra virgin olive oil.

    • i'd say coconut oil for better performance. every coconut = + 1 HP

      • cbd oil for a mellow ride
