I have the three apps installed and use according to the discounts I get. Still difficult to find Taxify/Ola drivers around Melbourne sometimes, frequently getting "try again later" message… Today I tried Taxify for the first time to use the AUD 20 that they gave me, but my account was blocked due to "unusual activity". Considering that I haven't used the app yet, it doesn't seem very unusual… I sent a message to support team, let's see. My partner tried Taxify at the same time and no drivers were available around 7 am (5km from Melbourne CBD). Ola was 11 minutes wait, so I used Uber (6 minutes). I used Ola once (50% OFF the first ride), and that was great.
Looks like some competition for Uber has been good for us. I haven't seen many promos for existing users for a long time.
