I hate these comps where you have to be awesome or know someone awesome.
Why do creative or 'lucky in life' people get to win, just make it a random draw. /rant over.

Creative people "get to win" because we put a whole lot of time, effort, hard work and sometimes money into our entries.
I enter (and win) quite a few creative comps and I usually put hours, days sometimes even WEEKS into creating an entry.
I've even been known to drive a 3-4 hour round trip to purchase a product for an entry, or to get to a location to get the perfect photo.
So we don't "get to win", we bloody well deserve to.

Right on Cristobel.
If anything we should all appreciate the creative ones, because with a bit (or a lot) of effort you can skew the odds in your favour.
Not to mention the fact less people enter them in the first place and a big chunk of those that do enter, go the zero effort route. Also @davonator. Those that are "lucky in life" win random draws, those that aren't put in the work to win the creatives.
/rant intermission?
