    Exactly right.

    "Smart Chip" means nothing… that's all iPhone cables.

    No MFI = No touchy.

    Because chances are the next "security update" from Apple will prevent it from working.

      Not all of their cable model numbers show up on the Apple site for certification MFI, but in my experience all of mine have been great quality and no problems with my devices.
