Disneyland Tickets - California

Anyone trying to find Disneyland tickets on the cheap will know that's it really hard to usually find any significant discounts. One decent way I came across was using the international site https://www.365tickets.co.uk/ which generally charges lower rates, but with a few other tricks you can get it even cheaper. Firstly use www.cashrewards.com.au where you'll get a 2.1% cashback, but also on the https://www.365tickets.co.uk/ site if you play around with the different currency options you can work out which gives you the lowest converted A$ rate. I found that purchasing in US$ on the site was the best outcome at the moment. I did this for Cali, but not sure about the other locations.

  • One place I always find cheap is using the American Airlines Australian sites Activities tab. You pay in AUD it goes through a tour company who send you your tickets a day later but it is always a little cheaper than I can find elsewhere. I just bought universal Hollywood 2 day tickets for $154.12 each an adult I could not find it cheaper anywhere else. I have used them several times over the years

Just another site worth checking prices

I was there 5 weeks ago.

I spent a few hours looking for options for tickets.
the savings are very very minor when shopping else where for tickets.

I just paid at the gate.

the only option I found that was cheaper was a dude on craigslist. the deal was that he'd get you in and then you'd pay him cash once inside. he was charging about US$80. you send a text to a number and you receive instructions.

may have been legit. don't know. if you are only paying once inside the park then what could go wrong - except park security deem that you essentially "snuck in" and then kick you out? take some disposable jackets and hats = go through the entrance and then ditch the "disguise"

    • Mickeyvisit has tickets at US$314. I got them for US$290 through the 365tickets UK site before the extra 2.1% cashrewards discount. This is for the 3 day Park Hopper. A saving of A$40 when you take into account the cashrewards cash back. This is a 10% overall cost saving compared to most other sites at the current US$/A$ exchange rate!! I spent hours looking at heaps of sites - you'll struggle to find better. NB The other non-UK 365 tickets websites don't qualify for the 2.1% discount.

most local travel agents will give you a deal, if you ask & tell them you're shopping around. Make sure you tell them though. Don’t just ask for a price. Tell them exactly what you can get online.

Maybe 5% off, if you pay cash or less by card.

They’ll make a little bit, you get a bit off, you’re supporting local employment & everyone wins, rather than send your funds to some unknown overseas operator.

  • The website is no longer active and have not tried any of this info recently but I got a fast pass ticket to both parks in 2011 for US$70!!!
PICKUP with driver's licence (they took photo copy) in the back of shell service station and drop box at night.

  • Not sure why everyone is posting comments that aren't really valid comparisons or not cheaper.

    • Not talking about Universal Studios.
    • One is an inappropriate way to obtain a ticket
    • Mickeyvisit is dearer than mine
    • Travel agent is 5% cheaper whereas mine is 10% cheaper
    • 2011 is too long ago and doesn't link to a cheaper price and is possibly dodgy.

Who can actually locate a 3 Day Park Hopper ticket cheaper than US$290 (less further 2.1%) ?

    • maybe the travel agent can give you more than 5% off the price in aussie dollars? 10% off what ? The U.S. dollar price ?

Many suppliers in USA adjust their prices for the Australian market with currency fluctuations, so don't assume the price is the same in aussie & U.S. dollars.

Many thousands of Australians go to Disney everyday & they don't want to lose them, if our dollar drops.

      • 10% off A$ converted price. But it doesn't really matter because the cheaper you find it in US$ the cheaper it is in A$. My point is - who can find a 3 day Park Hopper Pass cheaper than US$290 ?

        • wholesalers in AUstralia work off up to 20%. Some don't deal with the public, some do, but to keep faith with agents, they don't discount to public. I would suggest that travel agents get 10 to 12%. SOme might get slightly more for volume.

Also, think you missed the point about aussie dollar prices which might not move even if u.s. dollar does.

  • Thanks Waskwy! Saved $$$ with 365tickets.co.uk by paying in Euros!
