Hi Guys,
I got relatives from USA will be travelling to Australia and SEA. Even though there are plenty of recommendations at Ozbargain for Traveller from Australia. Would anyone please recommend a good company for travellers from USA. Insureandgo is the one i usually go with but they dont take insurance from USA. Cheers

yeah thanks, here is the email i got, surely the price cant be right for 1 adult 3 children
"Can you tell me which one to buy? I just need a basic one. Total cost is approx. $8k for 4 of us."
Your relos need to look at TRAVEL INSURANCE
Sounds like a quote for US health insurance.
They need to buy it while in the states. They can’t buy it here…
Also going basic is a terrible idea.
If they can't find anything over there, which I would be very surprised, try World Nomads. They sell travel insurance for residents from different countries.
Thanks, this gave them a price point comparison, cant understand where they get 8k from
Maybe you should post this on 'MericaBargain
Thanks
You're welcome, friend.
thanks aliceadventures, very useful information on that website.
Just a tip. I got STCI insurance for a trip to France. Had a tooth fall to bits. They only cover it if you're in pain - and I think just enough to stop the pain - not repair it. This may be standard for all travel insurance?
Ask your relatives to ask their friends that have travelled abroad from the USA. Surely US locals would know more about US travel insurers than Aus locals?
