90% of iPhone X I have seen in the wild have the official leather case… the metal buttons on the case themselves that match are big of a feature.

Never seen in my daily commute a bare no case iphone X. I can understand why. If you paid $1600 for a fragile device. The last thing you want is for it to hit the ground and end up with cracked glass.
You lot don't use common sense. It's just not to protect the back of the phone from cracking if u drop it. The case is from scratching and marking, as well as dust. I bought a grey-blue gel hardcase for my iphone 6S plus for 20c 18mths ago from Kmart of these 'Audiosonic' branded ones that Kmart bought out the firm, a few yrs back. They're a pretty decent manufacturer. It's like buying one of those cheap plastic film screen protectors, so that dust & dirt particles don't scratch or even mark the phone.

You lot don't even think. Just drivel and jibber jabber. If u want to protect your phone from cracks, get a hardcase like a Lifeproof Fré or Otter brand or something similar. (Don't u lot read about such hardcases, as to not crack or damage your phone??) Or even a flip wallet that u can place your cards in, as well as a tempered screen protector, or film one.
