I have seen Forza in person it looks great if you like racing games.
Can't give any input on Assassin's Creed Origins but if you like ancient fighting in the sand I guess get it?
Forza H3 + HotWheels DLC included in the package deal is the PlayAnywhere version, so if you also have PC(s) running Windows 10 with decent graphics card, that might be another plus point.
Assassin's Creed Origins is newer and includes Rainbow Six Siege. AC Origins seems better suited for XB1X.

I would wait for a couple of reasons - your warranty will start to lapse from now until Christmas and the gaming bundles may be more relevant to what they want for Christmas. It is a good deal but it will probably be comparable to what is around come Christmas. There is also the rare scenario you get a 1TB for closer to $220 like was previously offered with Amazon.
Consoles drop in price so much…. Plus there's a pretty decent chance of 19% off storewide on eBay in September when eBay turns 19, at the very worst 15% off should happen then. So will console prices drop by 5% on in the next 3 months? Personally, I'd say it's likely. Also I like to use things as soon as I buy them, that way if they're broken or faulty I can chase it up immediately and get it replaced or refunded. So personally I would wait, maybe I just leave things to the last minute more? ;-)
The main question is…do you want to start playing games on it now or in six months time.
depends if your kids want the mine craft version …..or will be happy with plain white one ……might not be mine craft bundles around at christmas … plain white ones will be.

yep run out …. eb have 500gb and Minecraft for $288 if you can find stock and JB 500GB and forza 3 for $289.
thin I'd rather keep the $38 as cash and get the $250 console if Microsoft release more stock.
