        It's depressed :|

      • 1) buttons that get you somewhere —> plain white buttons
        2) buttons that save something, i.e. primary actions —> blue
        3) buttons that delete something —> yellow/orange

Better to ask Scotty, I'm sure there is some UI methodology to it.

Not really sure why, farming employs almost no one and is increasingly owned by large concerns rather than individuals.

      • +3

But it indirectly employs many people.
Farming supplies, canning, freight, fertiliser, etc.

        • I do feel that imported products that lack quality, certification & reputation are not worth buying, not to mention the cost of getting them here. BUT if they do have the quality's mentioned then I feel they deserve my money over Australians, of course different categories carry different weights.

Buy the dried beans and keep the jobs in your house!

    • +2

Many of the Edgell canned beans are imported

Annalisa beans are Italian grown, many other brands are Chinese these days such as all the house brands.

      • Imported - from italy

I buy Aussie only aussie if truly good/known traceability.
European regulations on pesticides are more stringent.
And for organic too (not the case here). In Australia everything can be sold as organic, even the keyboard I'm typing from.

    • There is nothing inherently bad for Australia about buying goods from overseas. If the overseas goods are better value then purchasing them will indirectly free domestic labour to focus on areas that Australia has a relative advantage in.

          If she gets off lightly…

Personally, my cheeks of steel can deadlift over 200 kg. Add a couple cans of these bad boys and you have the recipe for a bomb casing which emits shockwaves throughout the night that blast the pictures off walls several rooms away!

      • I don't think you are supposed to eat the liquid

        • +1

You don't eat it, you drink it.

Best is to go to any Indian shops and in 2$ or 3$ per kg you can get beans that you can boil as required. It is FRESH!
