Considering buying PC Mover professional to do the data transfer from my old laptop to new laptop. (Win7 to Win10)
5 users are set up on old laptop so there is a lot of data to be transferred.
Looking for best transfer and I think PC Mover Professional might be the solution.

Macrium Reflect has worked for me. Though if it's a major jump in OS and hardware, I'd always advise just starting from fresh for long-term stability.
I'm unfamiliar with that software but in general it's a good idea to start from a clean slate.
Who has 5 users on one laptop?!
Enable "View hidden files"
Enable "View hidden OS files"
Copy Users folder from Windows drive.
Doesn't Windows already have a tool to do this?
https://www.easeus.com/download.htm works for me. But yeah, backup first. Win 10 is not the most stable or accommodating OS. See https://www.askwoody.com/
Windows 10 has been good for me. All os have bugs with new software. Patch, update, stay current with software will provide with a more secure environment.
Just remember that support only lasts for 2 iterations. So next version comes and windows 7 is out.
Windows easy transfer, very easy to use and free. Windows 7 has it by default. Windows 10 doesn't. Just copy the exe file from windows 7 into windows 10 and then run easy transfer in Windows 10.

Very helpful information, thanks
Why not just start fresh and put your old laptop on a portable HD. There’s no way you’ll need everything
Whatever you do, back it up first
