  The app has only been on the Play store for some months.

  It requires permission to make phone calls otherwise it refuses to function, why?

  Almost all the reviews including the free ad version seem to be paid reviews. All 5 stars with similar broken English, seemingly all from users of the Indian subcontinent, and all over a short 1 week period when the app first released. Then nothing except the odd real review with lower ratings
