Can anyone tell me how wide the feet are on the Hisense N7 75 or how long a tv unit I'd need? I want to see if it's going to fit on my tv stand or if I'll need to get a new larger one when it arrives.
Thanks in advance :)

I think the panel is 350mm thick. :)
Why not wall mount?
Yeah we have a 75" hisense that we purchased the wall mount before we purchased the TV as we have a 2yr old and I didnt want him as a statistic of a kid that was injured (or worse) pulling a TV onto himself.
At 75" the TV is big enough that I wouldn't want to have it feet mounted on a tv cabinet, even if there weren't any kids involved.
Try value for money audio for good prices on TV mounts. (I got the tip from a random guy when I was looking at TV mounts in Bunnings).
I use selby. Huge warehouse type place with a dozens of mounts on display.
if its like us, may be in a rental with no approval to attach anything to the walls.
It's a 10 minute job (with drying time in between) to fix the 4 holes and give it some paint.
So you're going to paint the whole room then?
@Diji1:
You can get touch up paint. For 4 holes of 8-10mm diameter, I doubt the REA is going to notice.
Even if they do, the repair should be good enough that no tribunal is going to entertain damage claims.
not going to do that at every inspection. and have already asked and been told no pictures, clocks, paintings, posters tvs or any other 'electronics' to be hung on walls. apparently the owners spent lots of money painting them a few years ago and does not want then ruined.
You might be able to find the ratio of stand to panel using a promotional image and do some quick maths to get a fairly comfortable result?
My photoshop ruler puts the stand at 87.5% of the panel (with extra space for error) and using nocure's measurement gives 1469mm.
(no responsibility for your TV falling off though)
A previous post tells me you were going to wall mount it with a swivel mount anyway though…?
I'm also annoyed at the current TV trend of feet-to-corners. Why don't they give us the option of a central type?
Thanks for the input all. We are still deciding whether to go wall mount or use a tv unit. The living room wall is slightly off to the left (large open plan area shared with kitchen) where the couches are, so ideally we'd have to get a swivel mount so we can angle it towards the couches better. Unfortunately the swivel mounts are like $100 or more dearer than the regular wall mounts, and there's not much choice up at 75".
I also have concerns with it being knocked over (kids). Either way we will need a tv unit for games consoles underneath the tv.
