I don't think the warehouse opens normally except during the sale period. I've been two years in a row now and they've always given a fleece blanket as the GWP so I assume this year it'll be the same. I'll be going again this year.

Negative, it's new stock that is heavily discounted. That's why the lines are so long. If you're after a cheap older model Samsonite, this is the sale people wait for.

No idea about today's crowd, however, from past experience, they restock regularly throughout the day. They certainly have enough stock to sell over the entire 4 days despite people buying entire sets of luggage.
was planning to go on Sunday..so just asking if its worth going on the last day.
Sunday they might close early
Went this arvo about 2pm and there was still loads of stock in just about all the models with plenty of active restocking.
No line to enter the warehouse but it was a bit hectic inside with people walking around with bags.
Medium samsonite bags were mostly $165, the models I remember that were there: spin trunk, pixelon, engenero but there were loads more.
Noted other bargains:

my partner got an american tourister cabin bag for $30
The free gift was a soft plastic travel tote thing that can be compacted
