      Grey Import with No local warranty

      • +2

        That's correct. The product we are offering is not a grey import. It is Australian stock and is covered by 24 months Australian manufacturer warranty. It is also cheaper to repair if damaged as the parts are stocked locally.

        Click on the Warranty & Returns tab.

        • I clicked on the Warranty tab. It says

          12 months local store warranty in Australia

          So, you are comparing 12 months of in-house warranty by seller with 24 months of Manufacturers warranty from Samsung !!!

        • @OzSikh: No, you are saying this …

          Grey Import with No local warranty

          … is that …

          12 months local store warranty in Australia

        • @PJC: I also said this

          So, you are comparing 12 months of in-house warranty by seller with 24 months of Manufacturers warranty from Samsung !!!

        • +1

          @OzSikh: No, I found a significantly lower price for Australian stock without even mentioning warranty. You said there was no local warranty.

        • +1

          @PJC: > found a significantly lower price for Australian stock

          that is not official Australian stock. An when I said Ni local warranty, I meant to say No Local manufacturers Warranty

        • @OzSikh: lol, seriously !!

          @PJC: lol

          Charger: Foreign charger with adapter plug (if necessary)
          Country origins: Outside of AU

          Yup. Hate it when my Aus stock phone comes with a foreign charger…

          @Wystri Warrick: yes seriously !!

      +1 PJC, Samsung's phones are very reliable, if it's not going to break in 1 year then it's not going to break in 2 years time.

      $0.15 cheaper than what found at eGlobal with a 1 year warranty, Kogan had it for $368.99 with 1 year warranty.

      I'd rather get a Xiaomi Mi A1, vanilla Android with a guaranteed 2 years of updates, I've got the phone and it's a really solid phone.
      The Xiaomi Mi A1 is often on specials and just recently the 64GB version was $231.35, and the 32GB version is currently available for $198.80.

        Samsung's phones are very reliable, if it's not going to break in 1 year then it's not going to break in 2 years time.

        That is an invalid point for neg. The product you comparing with is grey Import & Samsung AU is not going to touch it even if you are willing to pay for it.

        I had Samsumg Galaxy S7 failed on me & because it was not Australian stock, Samsumg AU rejected to even look at it.

          Actually I have an A7 which is`starting to play up after 14 months.
          Taking it in for a warranty repair next week.

      • Negging my comments won’t change the facts

    Negging as the phone is cheaper elsewhere, as pointed out by PJC and in my earlier comment.

    OP's price is cheaper than Hardly Normal so kudos to him for beating a big retailer.
    However I don't believe that it is worth the extra cost for 2 years of warranty, compared to the 1 year warranty on PJC's and my comment.

  • Galaxy J6 and J8 were just announced replacing this. Probably will see a few price drops over the next month as stock of those trickle out

    Cheaper here, friend. $369.19 delivered

    Also Australian stock and warranty. And I've heard of allphones/mobileciti.

    Thanks for playing.

      Edit: I can't workout why someone would down vote you?

      • +1

        I'm sure, you have no idea about the difference between in-house warranty by seller (Amaysim) and Manufacturers warranty (by Samsung)

        • lol, seriously !!

          No prize for guessing who down voted paul11's awesome price find!

        why someone would down vote you?

        But do you know why your comments above were down-voted by people and your neg was removed, ultimately

          @Wystri Warrick:

          Negging won’t change the facts!!

          thats exactly right, it won't change the fact that there is NO comparison between in-house warranty by seller and Manufacturers warranty

  • Is this better than A5? A5 is only slightly more expensive.

    • The Galaxy A5 is a bit more expensive device as it has water and dust resistance IP68 certification.
