What are the odds of throwing $130 in the air hoping it will land on $169 in RRP?

    • +3

There's places selling brand new for less than $240. Putting an RRP as a comparison for a 2nd hand item and listing the difference as a "saving" is a bit ridiculous…

I'm pretty sure that is not legal in Australia…

If there is a major failure with the goods, you can:

    • reject the goods and get a refund
    • reject the goods and get an identical replacement, or one of similar value if reasonably available, or
    • keep the goods and get compensation for the drop in value caused by the problem.
You get to choose, not the supplier or manufacturer.
  • I see this as a good bargain for all those who don't mind shop returns.

$130 is a fair bit less than the $240 the normal prices of new goods as per lazed.

My concern is says comes with everything for installation, but has only 9ft cable. Unless I am missing a point here. Also hardware cost is not much in a security system. It is the cost of getting it installed too.
