PayPal Clever Xmas Promo - up to $100 Cashback - Anyone received?

Am I the only one who hasn't received the cashback? It was supposed to be paid last Friday, Jan 15th.

I'm owed $77. This makes it 2 for 2 on recent paypal promotions where I have had to chase them.

    Yep, doing that now. They are saying I didn't register, luckily I kept a screenshot.

    nice job guys, keep on them. In the future, remind one of the mods (if i dont remember) to post a warning about paypal links. Keeping screenshots etc

    Well my case got escalated and I have received word back now…

    Upon review, PayPal determines that you are eligible for a cash back of $77 AUD.

    So yeah, luckily I had taken and kept all my screenies, otherwise I'd be out $77. I did mention I had saved screenshots, which I'm picking is why got it escalated. This was after their initial comeback of "I didn't register".

    So I will be doing the same again next time, PayPal seem to have something against me.

      mmm good to see it worked out.

      In the future we all need to team up, and get all users to make/save screenshots of the forms. I can also use google docs to create communal pdfs of the t&cs

    Turns out ACCC aren't going to do anything about it.

    PayPal still owe me $57 and I have all the evidence to back that up.

    So… now what?

    What was the value of the CHEAPEST item that you purchased during the promotion period?

    That promo had a "trap" in it, so you need to be sure you didn't fall into it.

      Me too, with a vengeance..
      The Aust Banking Ombudsman got very fast action for me though (was not same as this problem).
      Paypal thought they were exempt as they considered themselves not to be a financial institution. LOL

    Got my full cashback now, 4 months late and only because the FOS got involved.

    PayPal, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.
