    Glad I waited!

Thanks OP. Nice DAB radio, I like the colour display, plus it has headphone and RCA line out too for connecting to an amp. Reviews look decent, though not many reviews to choose from: https://www.productreview.com.au/p/bush-br320dabc.html. I will have one of those thanks :-).
Plus this page too for this same radio: https://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/techknow-digital-radios… :-)

The same thing is for sale at JB, but badged as a Blaupunkt for $199 , don't know where Grey's get their RRP of $329.00 from … do they just think of a number and double it?

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/blaupunkt/blaupunkt-bcr-9-dabi-dab…

    • @frugalfred: Then Grays price is still $136 less that JB's $199 sale price and it includes delivery from Grays, so still darn good I think. Re RRP prices, I think that a lot of retailers play that RRP game, but you expect OzB members to ignore any stated RRP and do their own research anyway (Not saying that I have never purchased without doing due diligence first, because I certainly have just clicked "BUY NOW" sometimes. Even purchased something I did not even need just because it is cheap… Hang on, I think I still do that).

    • The SMH article has a $329 RRP, what another model from a different brand sells for at JB is irrelevant.

      • Well it actually is relevant because it's not another model or a different brand as Bush & Grundig are the same company.
They are both exactly the same in every way apart from whichever one of the two logos were they decided to stick on it when it was made in China.

        • Still irrelevant to what the RRP was for the Bush model in relationship to your original question.

Is the RRP massively over-inflated and is it a rubbish point of measurement?
          yes absolutely.

    Thanks, got one!

  • +1

Dumb question, but do any of these have AM channels?

    • +3

No, but you may be able to get the same station on DAB

      • +4

        Or the internet.

    • +1

DAB+ is supposed to be the replacement for AM.
(unless of course you're out of range of DAB (ie not in a Capital City)

    Great! Thanks Op

    Thanks, bought two

Thanks, got the internet enabled one for $63.20.

  • ebay gift card bought from woolworth, can we do split pay like part of the total uses ebay gift card, rest of it uses paypal?

  • Bush Digital/Internet Radio

Got mine yesterday from the last deal, really good radio.

Easy to set up and everything works great.

    • I got mine last week and finding that the screen is hardly legible; it is very feint and I have to look at it at a certain angle to make out what's on there… is that the same with yours? Changing the brightness in the settings screen has zero impact too.

I have written to Grays via eBay to advise (with a photo of the screen)

      • +1

Screen is great on mine, easy to read and bright.

        • OK thanks for confirming. I wrote to them and they said they will just refund (and I can keep the unit)… which is a shame as I actullly would have liked a replacement.

        • @javab0y:

Just ask them for a replacement instead.

      • I got mine yesterday and my screen is great as well, looks like you might have a faulty unit

        • How are you finding it for internet radio - reasonably decent for navigating the menus, or clunky UX?

How do you find stations/podcasts that many not be in there pre-existing list? Do you need to type in a URL/RSS?

    Big Thanks OP.
Just found that UNDOK app is supported for this radio in both android and IOS.
If you have multiple radios the app will control all at once.
User manual for radio can be downloaded from BUSH website

    • Do you know if I can use the app simply to control the radio from my phone (i.e. instead of physically using the control panel)?

      • +2

yes you can control it entirely with the undok app. Don't even need to touch the radio itself. Can even turn it on from standby etc.

        • +1

Just got mine (Ours was 2 weeks delivery from Grays to arrive Perth WA). Love this unit. The Undok app on my droid phone is also darn amazing as you say. Cannot fault it, and connecting the unit to my home stereo is so easy too. We already had a DAB radio and an old Logitech Jukebox unit for internet radio and playing music files from our NAS over our network, and this single unit does all those jobs in one. The screen is nice and bright, but why bother with that when you have it on your phone now :-).

Thanks OP, pulled the trigger on the internet one as well.

I'm not a huge fan of bush.

Other possible responses to consider before replying:

I'm not keen on their music either but my wife still listens to sixteen Stone once in a while.
      Snoop has made better albums.
I'm more of a city boy myself too.
There have been better Presidents, but i'd take either of them over Trump.
I've not visited Cornwall in a long time.

      • +1

Bush is ok… but it's much better when 50% off or more.

    • +2

Oh? You might need to have a look here then.

Could this internet speaker be a Spotify playback device and remote speaker I could connect to a Google Home mini?

It would be able to get a couple of these radios and control with voice? E.g. "OK Google play Marvin Gaye in the Bedroom" or "play Let it Go in the bathroom" and it knows the zone

    Anyone tried it?

    • interested on this as well..

"play Let it Go in the bathroom"

but seriously, anyone tried if it can be controlled remotely via Google Home/HASS/Openhab or anything else?

    • play Let it Go in the bathroom

Who's your favourite, Elsa or Anna?

    • Looks like it may be a feature of the next product (probably why this is being cleared out).

  • Just saying, this code is not specific to Greys or Bush. Same as this deal:

Been wanting a nice cheap internet radio for years now, thanks OP

  • Great price. Purchased last week and glad I used my 28 degrees card for the purchase as I can use the price protection to get the 20% price reduction back.

  • +1

Cheers OP. Bought the internet radio :)

  • Good price, but not sure why I purchased the internet radio.

I've already got a google home in the bedroom and another digital radio already in use there as an alarm clock.

    Ozbargain!! Sheesh!

Anyone used this for listening to podcasts? Looking at the manual online it appears you can do so as part of the 'internet radio' feature.

    • You needed to buy one because they are out of stock now, possibly forever!

    • You like to sell urs to me @Fookos

    • Just asking - can you stream internet radio via google home? I don't know much about google home and wondered.

I do have an internet radio, and use it all the time as I like the expanded breadth of content, but conversely probably don't need a google home?

      • +1

Hi - yes - Google Home uses tunein radio to find you stations I thinkk - so if you ask to play a particular station it should grab it for you.

    • Same here. Moved the Home Mini into the bedroom for voice control of the lights but started using it for radio since it sounds better than the digital clock radio I have there. Was even thinking of using it as an alarm clock once Google enables radio stream alarms for those not on US English (though might not be the most reliable of things)

I'm expecting the Bush internet radio will sound better than the Mini, but now I'm so used to voice activation for turning on and setting sleep timers for the radio.

  • Just managed to buy one after I missed the discount code last week.
Just wondering how well this $63 Bush BR320DABC does as a morning alarm clock?

Can you set it to wake you up to digital/internet radio?

    • +4

Yes, you can wake up to buzzer, DAB, Internet radio or FM.

It has two alarm settings, sleep, snooze and if DAB is out the alarm will buzz instead.

It's a really good radio and sounds great for its size.

      You'll love it.

      • Sounds great.
        Just what I needed!

  • Got a Bush Digital/Internet Radio for my dad but I think he already has something similar but I also got him a cheap tablet and light laptop for his bedroom that could do the internet radio as well.

  • +1

    Thanks Wolfie.

  • Anyone buy too many of these and wish to sell one or two?
