  • You have linked a power strip and title is for a face mask , ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Edit. Link has been amended now

Would be nice if people had the courtesy of wearing these while they're sick and in a confined space (public transport)

    • It's been proven that that only works for three seconds anyway. Overseas mask wearing is a cultural thing that kinda went wild despite the facts we know now.

Why does wearing a face mask only prevent spread of germs for 3 seconds?
Where are these facts you're referring to?

        • The germs/viruses end up saturating the mask and because the mask is kept close to your face it's kept moist and at the optimal temp and humidity for bacterial and viral growth.
These masks are good for particulates like smog but not against the flu.
During flu season you're better off using hand sanitiser and avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth when in public places.

moronic comment, just saying. i use these kind micro filtration mask in my work place, it it has been good for 10 years. what you on about 3 secs, please keep your sex life out of post like this? LOL

    • It could save employers and our governemt millions of $ in absentee and health fees but would only work if said employers and government gave them out as a prophylactic. There's little incentive otherwise and our culture is too inward looking.

  • So this is for one time if not then where to get the disposable air-filter cartridges?

  • "The mask collected thousands of Chinese people's data through ergonomic research."
The mask is stealing yo' data - let the paranoia commence!

    • Does it record what you say?

    • Chinese people's data

  • wot

  • Better to save your money to move away from somewhere that you need to wear that to play sport or walk around…=\

These are very good masks. The controlled forest burning during the last few months made the air quality in Melbourne so shit that it was comparable to some of the worst Chinese cities, according to online data.
A good use, at least for me, is to wear them doing the gardening works. It also eases the smell when picking up dog dumps. Absolute a life saver!
