I use to buy stuff from focalprice.com and while sometimes they were a pain to deal with their prices were really cheap and they accepted paypal, but lately i have found although they are still ok compared to oz shops they have more than tripled their prices.
I was after a in car flip down monitor right now and was wondering if anyone knew of a good site like this for Chinese electronics etc at great prices and accept paypal?

As above. A combo of focalprice, dealextreme and tinydeal is generally going to get you the best you can out of that genre of cheapo gadgets.
I've been using buyincoins.com recently for wholesale lots of the less technical stuff. Just gotta match the product on DX and read reviews there (the reviews on buyincoins are rubbish).
Tomtop is good for service and more high quality stuff. I bought a Rii remote and various other stuff from them and got great service.

Their customer service was shockingly bad and the delivery was slow 8 weeks or something plus i had to keep amending my order because i would order something and than a few days later they would say out of stock (not by email btw through a message on their site when you log in), but they use to be crazy cheap iphone clones for $40, xbox media remote control for $2 etc with free postage and so i was prepared to deal with their crapness and BS because they were so cheap but now their prices and most of these sites seem to be not much better than ebay really though unfortunately.
Have not checked them all yet.

Aliexpress is basically eBay.
The difference is, you rarely get competitive prices unless you buy a lot.
The buyer protection is also quite poor, you need to do your research to make sure your not buying from a scammer.
yeah after looking closer you are right about aliexpress.
I think if you make sure you only pay by paypal you should be ok as paypal offers you protection.
Not in a million years would i ever give my credit card details to one of these sites.
the difference is, they can send you a brick, and Paypal will most likely side with the seller. They also use the regular trick of sending you the right product the first time, then when you order 50 of them they send you a bunch of fakes.
on eBay, Paypal is much more inclined to side with the buyer.

You'll find focalprice haven't increased their prices except in a few situations related to new limits in the Hong Kong post. You'll find the same problem at dealextreme, but its only few products.
