Pretty sure these things charges up at 1amp or less and outputs 1amp or less.
Damn handy pulled apart as a litium-ion battery charger. (A few alligator clips… And it can be used to trickle charge up old cells. Lol)
What are the cells like inside them, I was thinking of getting a few to use the cells.
18650cells. Generic Chinese elCheapos.
Old laptop batteries
Drill/ powertool batteries
If anyone is legitimately interested in getting one, I've got a 4400mah one with 3 in 1 cable someone can grab. Charges way too slow for me and couldn't be bothered to tear apart.
Hopefully this won't be "selling" because its just general junk I want to get rid off.well worth it for the cables alone
Not really, they're like one dollar on eBay.
at least when it breaks you can get it replaced without shipping costs
pfff it's no xiaomi
Does xiaomi has local warranty? Laser got replacement warranty.
I have the 10000mah one and using the included 3 in 1 cable, my S8 says it is fast charging..
That's pretty sweet if it really does. The cables might not b rated for 2amps though. They seem pretty thin.
How do you know it's fast charging if I may ask? What if you check the Ampere free app and see the actual realtime mA speed?
the only way I can tell is that the phone says it on the screen, if you use an old charger it'll say slow charging, if U use the original supplied fast charger it says fast charging, and this power bank makes the phone say fast charging, so that's all I can go by… the 10000mah one has two USB ports, one charges at 1A the other at 2.1A
edit: I tried that ampere app, using the original supplied fast charger it was sitting around 1050mA then I swapped to this powerbank and it was sitting around 1070mA. I only did it for about two minutes with each charger..
It should be in the 2amp range at low battery percentages.
Give it a go at lower percentages next time.
Not bad lil unit if it does push out 2.1amp.
But… Don't expect the batteries to last many cycles.
The usb-c head is the wrong size and sits very loosely.
Very handy… 2200mah $3 with a 3 in one cable! (30pin apple incl. Lol)
