My 50Mbps NBN connection has never gotten over 35Mbps. Most nights and weekends it runs at about 5Mbps or slower. I could leave it downloading for a couple of days I guess?

You should probably get that fixed. I get consistent speeds regardless of time or day.
Who are you with? That's pretty poor service.
@TarquinOliverNimrod: It's not the RSP, it is our local tower. Basically NBNco have overprovisioned it and now it gets hammered. I have tried two RSP's both using different backhaul networks (?) and running them side by side the slowdowns were concurrent. My next door neighbour is with a 3rd RSP and they have the same problems.
So while I am with Telecube currently I can't blame them for the problem. This is flat out an NBN issue.
I loaded the free game, says you can "Play all of arc 1", so this is a limited trial, should get a few hours of gameplay atleast.

It's a 92gb download if you want to play it for the free weekend, so a hard pass for most of us.
