  The start is tough. But once you craft your silver sword (you can do this early buy finding silver ore) it gets smoother. Dont forget that this is very much a true RPG, very little handholding. You must read the in-game codex to learn enemy weaknesses and exploit them. I could go on and on.
  
  I have to be honest, I loved this game. I finished the whole thing in 3 sittings. One of my favourite games. Looks amazing on PC too for its age.

    I think the game is great except that you could only use potions prior to the fight.
    
    Didn't find the start difficult as long as you kept dodging and on the move, then pick each one off.

    I tried this aswell before diving into W3 (best game for me).
    
    However, I also gave up during the tutorial . I remember I couldn't complete one task where I had to time my sword swing or something ? To coincide with an icon changing ? (It was a few years ago)
    
    I'm keen to try the game again, before I go into NG+ for W3. Might do more reading of beginners tips for W2

      Honestly I skipped the tutorial, you dont need those advanced movements.
