Mine arrived damp (I think), and it feels more like a cushion than a pillow. Won't move unless you force it to under the cover.

      Not really satisfied.

    • Pretty satisfied with mine. I can shape it and it'll mostly maintain the shape.

  • I am in search for side sleeper pillows

    • I bought a dunlopillo a while back which is higher and firmer than most. Great for side sleepers. Not so great if you decide to sleep on your back though.

I bought mine through Sheridan when they had one of their sales but I think this is the one: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/dunlopillo-luxurious-latex-high…

  • Vendor in title please.

It's beginning to look like a culture that doesn't give a shit about pain of living things or is this in certain areas of the world?

See zoo, live animals fed to carnivores. Live dogs beaten to be tender meat. Live bear bile, etc.

Its not just China, but Japan too (whales, dolphins and lobsters).

      Why?

How come these duck feather pillows are so much cheaper than other duck feather pillows?
Is there a big difference between them, or largely the same product?

    • +3

Chinese ducks work for less money than European ducks.

    • Not sure I've ever seen a duck feather pillow elsewhere. Cushions, yes, pillows, no.

Duck down is what makes a good pillow. The higher the ratio of down vs feathers the more comfortable. It's likely the more expensive pillows were actually duck down.

      • Yes, these pillows are mostly feather and not down so they can feel a more spiky that you might be expecting. Also, duck feather/down is less desirable than goose feather/down as ducks have a more diverse diet so will carry a stronger odour than geese which have a mostly vegetarian diet.

  • Got the last one, thanks op.

  • at this price is most likely pluck from live ducks

  • Good if you own a duck as a pet

  • Looks to be still available on the spotlight store

  • What pillow would you recommend to someone who is a side sleeper and with neck pains? I think I also like firm ones better than soft ones.

    • I have a latex pillow (cost about $35 on sale) that is, without a doubt, the best pillow I have ever slept on.
      Can't remember the brand though.

      • Could you please check the brand when possible ? Might be a tag on it.

        • Had my wife check and there is no tag - it was bought from one of those Chinese variety stores, so I doubt it is a known brand.

Having said that, check out latex pillows, they can be pricey but I find it better than memory foam or typical stuffed pillows.

        • @singlemalt72:
Thanks very much. Latex is praised so much. I'll give it a go.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, THOSE POOR HELPLESS DUCKS, SHAME ON ANY IF YOU FOR SUPPORTING LIVE PLUCKING 😢

    • ducks are fenced in in Australia in the parks now, and its illegal to feed them here, so whats your point?

    • How do you know the feathers are from live ducks?

      • the prisoners wrote it on them so it must be true….

Settle down. We all do something that affects others. Welcome to life.

  • dang , missed out again

    • These pillows are practically always 40% off ($7.79) in Spotlight stores which, speaking from experience, usually have obscene amounts of stock.
