  • a deal?

  • Do these sound better than standard apple earpods?

    • Yep. I really like them. Got a few from the old gearbest sales.

      • thanks for reply will buy one and see how it stacks up . I was just suspicious of really cheap price tag

        • +1

They're pretty meh for $5 as you would expect, but does a reasonable job.

    • No

  • They want a phone number to order F that!

    • Just give them a fake number?

  • +1

Are they better than the $2 Kmart ones?

    • +1

The kmart ones are actually decent for the price. You'd struggle to find the difference in quality between them and the pistons.

  • -4

These would be the fake pistons….coz the real ones are like 20$

  • +1

I really like the sound and how they fit so im going to buy another pair but this will be my 4th pair in a couple years as one side of the ear phones stops working after awhile or the sound starts distorting. It's hard to complain for only $5 though

    • +1

I have had these for a long time.
The issues with the sound changing for me is always earwax.
I prise out the little metal mesh cover and foam underneath, and drop them into some boiling water.
Pop them back in and good as new.
Literally the only issues I have had with these other than my kids losing them.
To my ears, better than Apple, also a nicer fit.
      Well worth a $5 punt.

      • The plastic ear bud comes off easy but no idea how you get the mesh part off to clean it? Tried pretty hard with an old pair that's already broken and couldn't manage it

        • I use a very thin needle, poked down between the mesh and the plastic.
In some pairs (not 100% sure which model) there's a foam core that sits beneath the mesh.
I have managed to put the mesh back in place, but didn't bother when the foam was there.

  • That coupon is about $3 USD off the order, so the price is only if you order one set. If you order two, you are paying an average of $5 USD each, if you order three, that is $1 USD off each etc.

  • If you don't mind spending a little more, then the Xiaomi MI IV Dual Drivers will be much better set of earphones. Looks like someone else posted a deal on these for under $20.

  • coupon has reached daily maximum limit?…… right after I make a new account

  • Netherlands post is more like 2 months…

  • Hey guys, how durable is the earphones? I guess they have good sound quality but it's useless that it doesn't last long. I.E loose audio jack or loss of audio on one side after few uses. Thanks

  • coupon code says its expired.

    • yep getting the same thing

  • Has anyones jack broken on these headphones? They seemed to break very easily.

    • yep. ive gone through 4 pairs of the dazzle version….some lasted longer than others but no more than 6 months. loss of sound to one channel and or tinny distortion with no bass…always seemed to go at the the jack & cable junction
im using one of these sets at the moment sound is much better than the dazzle but im not confident i'll get more than 3 or 4 months out of them. cant say im particularly nice to them as im mainly using them when cycling (sweat/rain/etc) but that why i buy them as i dont care if i have to bin them when theyre so cheap

    • I’ve had the piston ones before. They didn’t last very long. Sound quality was great at first but then the magnet moved around inside the earpiece.

You can stop you earphones cracking up at the jack cable junction this way

Instead of the tape you can also use shrink tube.
