Thick Winter Socks

Hi guys

Any recommendations for really warm thick socks for winter?

My arthritis is killing me already and it's hard to stay warm with regular socks.

Thanks!

Wear two pairs? Layering is effective.

They arent cheap, but amazingly good quality.

    Pompea "hot cotton" on Amazon.it.
Oddly Amazon UK only seems to have the lighter cotton ones. They're cheap (for Australia) although shipping seems to cost more than 6 pairs of socks.

  • Went to Escape2 at the DFO at South Wharf and got these ffantastic bamboo socks for under $10 a pair. You need a couple of pairs as they are so thick they take a while to dry after washing them. They were on special so you might want to check they still have them.

  • Pick up some of the merino ski socks at the Aldi snow sale next weekend

    • Just make sure you aren’t allergic, any direct contact with wool brings me out in welts and itching.

  • Icebreaker

  • Winter hiking socks. Though those Mongrel Socks posted above look pretty damn warm!

    • Thank you, ordered a set of 6. Hopefully this would be better than the so called "thermal socks" we've purchased at KMart.

  • Kathmandu?
