Purchased for my mum, G5S Plus is 5.5" vs this is 5.2". Prefer the smaller size.
Also this is 4GB RAM vs 3GB in the G5S Plus @ the mobileciti store.
G5 Plus has 2x Sim & 1x microSD.
G5S Plus has 1x Sim & 1x Sim/microSD hybrid.
So can't use 2x and an mSD at the same time in newer model. I opted for the G5 Plus over the G5S Plus. Upgraded from G4 Plus.
Bought G6 plus two days ago from amazon.de, $426 including postage.
Has not been shipped yet.
Anazon.de listing says, no postage to Australia, but did allow me to checkout and pay.

Even less than that because the invoice you will receive will be the full ebay price. Thats because ebay covers discounted portion so it's as if you paid original price in full.
So the gst component will be for the full ebay price eventhough you are out of pocket the discounted price only.
Source: bought a fair few ebay discounted items then claimed trs when i took said items overseas.

Would people recommend this over the xiaomi phones? Looking for something for my mum…
australian warranty will make it easier if your mum has any issues, also get australian charger.
also has band 28 which many xiaomi don’t ….. check tpg 1gd per day data offer band 28 is one of the bands tpg uses for data.
Why not getting the G5S plus for similar cost?
