    From the website:

    RENEWD - Certified Refurbished GOOD

Product is in good condition , this classification is reserved for Notebooks that will show evidence of much heavier use that will include scuffing , heavier scratches , dents and chips on external surfaces , wear and tear will be visible on palm rest , keyboard and touchpad , screen may have minor scratches , white blemishes may be evident on the screen , hinges may have small cracks.

Apparently a laptop that has dents, chips, scratches and a scratched screen with white spots is in GOOD condition.. Jeez I'd hate to know what poor condition looks like

    • just filer anything in "excellent" and "excellent plus" conditions, those are as new. I bought 2 "excellent" ones, and I struggled to find any signs of use.

    • but yes, you have a valid point, their GOOD and GREAT conditions are far from normal language definitions :D

At least they're not calling them Grande, Venti and Trenta

  • The april15 worked out better for most.

    • true.

Put some real photos up of the laptops you’re selling!!

    • +4

Right? What am I playing roulette here?

    • +4

Exactly, why are you showing me a brand new picture when you're selling second hand.

  • Yup. Giving this one a miss.

    Recently joined. Hmm that's worrying.

Id neg post but will let the comments do the talking

We like to see prices. Bargains have prices.

  • Have purchased two laptops off them in the past week, Lenovo Ideapad 510 and Asus Strix GL502VM, both delivered next day and in good condition despite a few marks on the screens, would highly recommend and if you're suspicious, you can pay via Paypal to cover your ass incase.

Hmmm, there are some great deals on computers here but I'm just wondering how bad even those graded "great" will come across..

    • -1

buy "excellent" and quit whining :)

      • The fact is the "excellent" graded ones aren't exactly great value..
Don't forget to factor in that these laptops have probably had 2 years usage - and the battery life will be affected dramatically even on "excellent+" models.

        • you sound like you bought something from them, have you? I have.

here's what I got from them a week ago: Lenovo 310 with i7-7500u, 8gb ram, NVIDIA 920mx in excellent condition for $300. list price was $350, minus $50 with the code may50.

I can find no signs of use, and battery life is not affected.

so, is it a good deal, or not? :)

        • @kasaresj: that sounding like great value for money, almost too good ;)
Why can't I find anything that's amazing value like that?

        • @pennypincher98: probably because I bought it already :) there was another similar one 2 weeks ago, but someone lucky snatched it before I pulled the trigger.

the other one I got was the Lenovo Miix 700 with m5/256gb/8gb/lte/excellent for $380, keyboard folio included, and that one was the last one, too.

I guess one needs to check the site every day if looking for a real bargain.

        • @kasaresj: haha that's remarkably similar to what I just got from eBay (GraysOnline) not that long ago, except mine has an M7 processor and included pen, cost $450.

        • @pennypincher98: so, 2 sources of deals is better than one :)

  • This looks good for gaming laptop @ $800:

    • yea I've been looking for a solid refurb for a while and these seem like good deals… But never heard of the site.

  • I would like to know the germ/bacteria level of the keyboards and palm rest for all the laptops.

    • Any good microscope deals going?

    • just out of curiosity, how is it different from your own laptop that is a few months old? :) different germs?
