Can you still buy non-digital watches? If yes, where/who makes decent ones?
Are Non-Digital (Wind-up) Watches Still Made?
Comments
That said, I've not seen an auto watch with a digital display……could be interesting.
I reckon that would defeat the purpose of the automatic movement wouldn't it?
As I imagine the display would require some sort of battery/electrical power source.power source, yes, so a spring would be fine……but short lived
i remember my first digital watch, back in the 70's, it would only show the time when you pressed a button. good power saving feature
is this a real question?
just google mechanical watch…
Can you still buy non-digital watches?
Yes
If yes, where/who makes decent ones?
Off the top of my head Seiko, Hamilton, Tissot, Glycine etc.
LMGTFY
google that.
Then type in "non digital watch"
Then click

Just visit your local clock shop. Eg in Canberra https://www.ajwatchrepairs.com
absolutely… some pretty decent watch brands make them
Can't go wrong with a Paneria Luminor 111 :)
http://www.woundforlife.com/2015/02/06/hall-fame-panerai-lum…I'm pleasantly surprised by how helpful people are being for such a ridiculous and honestly stupid question.
Many many places. Many many brands
Most of the high end names are manual / automatic
Are you after a pure manual, or one that winds itself as well?
I'm wearing one now

Are you confusing quartz movements with the word digital? Digital is the display only. That said, I've not seen an auto watch with a digital display……could be interesting.
